What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and a hashed password. If you complete onboarding we also store the birth details you provide — date, and optionally time and place of birth — because they are required to cast your BaZi chart.
On the free chart page we may store your email address and birth date in your browser's local storage, on your own device, so your chart is ready when you create an account. Preferences such as language, notification settings and rewards progress are likewise kept in local storage on your device.
How we use your data
We use your birth details to generate your chart, daily guidance and compatibility readings, and your email address to sign you in and to send service messages you ask for.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your birth details for advertising.
Where your data lives
Account data is stored on our servers and processed through our API. Data kept in local storage never leaves your device unless you choose to create an account with the same details.
You can clear local storage data at any time from your browser settings. You can also sign out from the account page, which ends the session on that device.
Your rights and contact
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
